Thank you for signing up for online homebuyer education with HomeSource.

 

  • You will be receiving two emails.  The first is from us at HomeSource containing important instructions and details about completing the class and scheduling your follow-up call.  The second will come from SignNow and contains documents that need to be completed and returned.  If you do not receive the email from SignNow, please check your junk/spam mailbox.
  • These messages are sent out manually by HomeSource staff.  Our normal hours of operation are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.  If you have registered outside of our normal business hours, you will receive these emails during our next business day.
  • After you have completed your online class AND returned your completed documents, we will contact you to set up your follow-up call.  Please allow up to 48 hours after completion of the class/return of documents for us to contact you to schedule your follow-up.  After hours appointments are available on an as-needed basis.
  • We will need a copy of a photo ID for everyone taking the class.  The most common way for us to receive this is to take a cell phone picture and email it to us.
  • The follow-up call takes approximately 30-60 minutes.  You will be discussing the course content, budget, spending habits, credit, and other relevant topics.
  • Once the follow-up is complete, we will generate your certificate and email it to you.  We will copy your loan officer on the message if provided with their information.
  • It is recommended that you complete your required education no less than 2 weeks prior to any scheduled closing date.
